Project #8 Consentful Interface

Design Process & Reflection

From this week's assignment, I picked up how to switch scenes by using DOM elements, especially buttons. It was a good opportunity to re-think about how I should design the flow of a program or service. I've realized that size, color, and location of each buttons play a huge role on the way users behave and this could lead to a big difference in a decision-making process.

One thing that I've been always wanted in a consent process is getting a visual example of the service that I will be provided after I agree with a policy. In my consentful interface, I presented a screenshot of one of scenes at my experimental camera so that users can get a hint of how giving an access to camera will be utilized in this program and instantly grasp the extent of data usage.
